The development partnership MILOS is building a regionally-based vocational guidance system which offers young people an extensive range of advice, assistance, training and placements in the employment sector.

MILOS consists of thirteen training providers and enterprises in the media and service sectors which have established a network comprising of 18 subprojects.

Cross-project work teams are set up to focus upon three key areas:

• Recognition and development of skills
• Flexibility of vocational training
• “One-stop” vocational guidance and placement.

MILOS works in co-operation with trans-national partner organisations to benefit from experiences based on different vocational training systems and politically-structured backgrounds.

Around 30 strategic partner institutions are involved in advising and guiding the development work and support the transfer of the project’s findings.

MILOS is co-financed by the EU social initiative EQUAL. The representative of the development partnership is the Berliner Verband für Arbeit und Ausbildung e.V. (bvaa).
